The Quantum Tarot is the fruit of a collaboration with author Kay Stopforth. Kay's concept was to create a deck marrying traditional tarot archetypes with theories from modern Quantum Physics, astronomy and the legends behind the Planets and Constellations. Kay approached me to illustrate this project in January 2006. We spent the best part of three months working together on the images. Our starting point became the fantastic photographs from the Hubble Space Telescope. We took these and fashioned them into works of fantasy, interweaving other photographic elements, faces and digital effects. The deck, along with Kay's companion book is due to be published by Kunati Inc in September 2008. see below.
